Role Overview

The Business Intelligence Analyst role will be the primary support for reporting and analysis of IT risk data to:

  1. ensure stakeholder understand the status and state of risk management efforts, and
  2. identify trends of risk increase

Objectives and Responsibilities

  • Create New SQL Server Reports (SSRS 2016) related to newly on-boarded datasets
  • Enhance existing SQL Server Reports (SSRS 2016) as needed
  • Prototype and create Dashboards in Power BI
  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis
  • Run weekly, monthly and quarterly data collection process for operationalized reports
    • Note: This is commentary data on metrics, not raw data collection
    • Proof read-commentary and ensure consistency
  • Partner with data engineer to automate data collection and report publishing with (SSIS and SSRS)
  • Define requirement for data mart view and analytic models (SSAS) to use in dashboards and reports
