Job Description:
. Design and build backend systems with an emphasis on scalability, and operability.
. Own complex projects end-to-end and effectively communicate to stakeholders.
. Develop a deep understanding of the recommender system and grow into a technical authority for this system.
. Work in a cloud native tech stack: Java, AWS, Angular, and React.
. Should have experience working with distributed systems in a production environment
. Should have experience with at least one message or event-based technology.
. You’re intellectually curious about the problem domain
. You’re a self-starter when it comes to learning
Qualifications
You will be a great fit if you have:
. Management related leaderships skills
. Experience executing on enterprise-level projects
. Superior communication skills
. Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns, and coding principles
. Hands-on experience in building cloud-based software leveraging cloud and open-source technology and frameworks
. Experience in building scalable and highly available distributed systems
. Experience in assessing application performance and optimizing/improving it through design and best coding practices
. Be an expert in core data structures as well as algorithms and can implement them using language of choice
. Deep understanding and experience in one of the public clouds (AWS, Azure) native services
. Experience in agile software development
. High attention to details with excellent organizational skills and ability to take charge, set objectives, drive to results; team-oriented
. Solid experience working in enterprise projects
. Excellent written and oral communication skills
